1. What CalmSplit provides

CalmSplit is a technology platform for organising divorce paperwork in England and Wales. We are not a law firm. Using CalmSplit does not create a solicitor - client relationship between you and CalmSplit.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or over. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not use an email address or device that your spouse can access if privacy or safety is a concern.

3. Fees and refunds

Court fees are payable directly to HMCTS and are separate from our service fees. You may be eligible for Help with Fees. Our one-off fees are shown at checkout.

We offer a full refund of the CalmSplit fee if you request it within 7 days of payment and your application has not yet been submitted to the court. Email support@calmsplit.com and we will refund to your original payment method. Court fees already paid to HMCTS cannot be refunded by us.

4. Limits

CalmSplit is not suitable for emergencies, urgent injunctions, or contested proceedings. See our disclaimers for the full list.

5. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.
